A march organised by Peter Burgess founder of the OFC. We 'marched' the XXVII Roman Miles between the two Roman forts as part of the Big Roman Dig with Channel Four's Time Team. A second group ascended from Patterdale and we met up at the Straits of Riggindale, we parted company at Thornthwaite Beacon as we headed on to Troutbeck and they descended to Hartsop.
