Skiddaw Little Man from above Millbeck, my line of ascent is to be up the heathery slope right of centre
The weir across Slades Beck or Mill Beck, I'm not sure where one ends and the other begins
The way ahead, a long drag, a 'tedious climb' per AW
Looking across to Carsleddam and Carl Side
The wide band of heather that has to be crossed on the ascent with the two boulders sketched by Wainwright on the centre skyline
Keswick, Derwent Water and the central fells from the ascent of Skiddaw Little Man
The two boulders up close, no where near the summit but they do mark the end of the heather!
The view across to the Helvellyn range
Looking back down the heathery slope to Millbeck on the far side of the trees
The north western fells from my ascent of Skiddaw Little Man
Skiddaw from Skiddaw Little Man
Carl Side with Long Side and Ullock Pike beyond and the Solway Firth in the distance
Skiddaw Little Man and Derwent Water from the path up Skiddaw
Lonscale Fell and Skiddaw Little Man with the Helvellyn range in the distance from Skiddaw
