Blue sky and sunshine to start, snow on ground from 1,700ft. In cloud by the top of Wetherlam. Hail shower on the way down to Levers Water. The plan had been to carry on to Swirl How but the icy descent to Swirl Hawse and the deteriorating weather put us off.
