Looking towards Skiddaw as I head up, deep snow drifts in places

Looking over Thirlmere to the north western fells

The view west

Helvellyn Lower Man, I'll be heading up there but am heading to Helvellyn's summit first

Helvellyn's summit

Catstycam and part of Red Tarn

The view south to Nethermost Pike

The top of Swirral Edge

Helvellyn's trig point

Heading for Lower Man

White Side and the Dodds from Lower Man

My way ahead, off path down below Browncove Crags. Not the greatest idea, lots of soft powder to sink into!

The weather has turned
