Sleddale Hall in Wet Sleddale was used as 'Crow Crag', Uncle Monty's holiday cottage in the cult film 'Withnail and I'. Recently it has received lots of press attention as United Utilities its current owners are selling it.

The guide price was £145,000 but it sold at auction on Monday 16 February 2009 for £265,000!
