Howtown to Glenridding (Ullswater shoreline)

Fri 5 Jan 2007

Route: Howtown - Ullswater - Hallinhag Wood - Sandwick - Ullswater - Silver Point - Ullswater - Side Farm - Patterdale - Glenridding village

Distance: 7.00 miles

Ascent: 500ft

Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

With: Anne

Notes:

Sunny intervals, windy at times, very mild.

We caught the steamer from Glenridding to Howtown (extending the trip by going via Pooley Bridge) and then walked back along the shoreline. An excellent low level walk.
