Route: A walk up Ennerdale as far as the Memorial Bridge from Bowness car park on the north side of Ennderdale Water.

Time: 4 hours 15 minutes

Notes:

Damp and cloudy. The rain increased the further up the valley we went and we turned round before reaching the hostel.

The plan had been to walk all the way to Black Sail Youth Hostel.
