The track out of Kirkland

Looking across to the northern Lake District

Looking back down our route as the sun comes out

Cross Fell summit on the right skyline, still some snow

Looking north, thats where the weather is coming from

Sunny to the north east

Rain approaching

Across the Eden Valley towards Blencathra

South to Great Dun Fell from Cross Fell's summit

Little Dun Fell and Great Dun Fell with the radar station


On the Pennine Way for a short section

Turn right off the Pennine Way at the sign

Little and Great Dun Fells

Descending to Wildboar Scar

Towards Lakeland from near Wythwaite
