We had caught the train to Windermere and hitched to Keswick and then taken the bus to Seatoller with light weight camping gear with the aim (achieved) of doing a big day out over the high fells and then camping in Wasdale with a pint or two in the Wasdale Head before walking back the next day and catching the train home to London.
